Be a Vendor

Thank you for joining us for Toshocon ! See you Monday, June 01, 2026.

Sell your high-quality anime merchandise at ToshoCON!

We'll get you set up with a booth and help you get started with our Vendor 101 class before the event. Best of all, there are NO FEES to reserve a booth!

To ensure that both teens and vendors have the best experience possible, vendors interested in participating must meet our seller criteria, which includes: offering high quality merchandise that is popular with the anime community and ensuring adequate inventory supply. All vendors must be approved by the ToshoCON committee.

Because of space limitations and interest, no vendor will be allowed to sell both days.

This a free event—there are no fees associated with being a vendor. However, each vendor is responsible for paying taxes on merchandise sold. A Temporary Tax License will be provided for you on the day of the event.

Once accepted as a vendor for this event and prior to selling you will be required to provide:

  • Sales Special Event ID
  • OR Your Sales Tax Number,
  • OR your Social Security Number

Sexually explicit content and non-packaged, perishable food items are not allowed. Any play weapon merchandise such as knives, swords, katanas, etc., must be left at the vendor’s booth until the buyer is ready to leave the event or the buyer must store them in a locked vehicle after the purchase is made.

Everyone wishing to be a vendor at ToshoCON must fill out an application.

Applications are open from Monday, June 01, 2026 Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Applications close on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 11:59 pm MDT.

ToshoCON Vendor Etiquette

Think about environmental economy

  • There is limited space for each booth.
  • NO extra storage space is available.

Be on time to move in and move out

  • No one will be granted extra move in or move out time.
  • Items for booths CANNOT be dropped off before scheduled move in or be left to be picked up after scheduled move out.
  • Anything left after the move-out time will be donated or thrown away.
  • Aisles must be clear of boxes and setup items before the vendor show can begin.
  • ADA Accommodations or alternative arrangements must be arranged with ToshoCON staff at least two weeks in advance.

Specify your power needs ahead of time

  • Vendors must let ToshoCON staff know if they need access to electrical sockets and power at least two weeks in advance. Tell us what is being plugged in and how many sockets are needed.

Know what will be provided for you

  • Each booth gets one (1) 3’ x 6’ table, one (1) black linen tablecloth, and two (2) chairs.
  • Each booth will have a drape behind their booth to pin posters or banners to. Vendors must bring their own pins. Only Viridian Staff is allowed to hang items on the walls. Anything hung on walls without permission will be removed.
  • NO day-of changes to table assignments can be made and equipment cannot be moved or added.
  • ADA Accommodations or alternative arrangements must be arranged with ToshoCON staff at least two weeks in advance.

Be prepared with supplies

  • Vendors need to provide their own scissors, pens, paper, pins, and whatever else they might need to setup and run their booth! There are no supplies available at the venue.

Plan to carry in your stuff

  • Carts cannot be guaranteed for load-in or load-out.
  • ADA Accommodations or alternative arrangements must be arranged with ToshoCON staff at least two weeks in advance.

Be a good neighbor

  • Get to know the other vendors and help each other out.
  • Vendors must keep their booth to their assigned area and avoid taking up space from others.
  • Vendors must keep their booths clean (no loose glitter, confetti, or stickers please).
  • Vendors with music or sound must keep the volume low.

Attend your booth at all times

  • No booth can be left unattended during show hours. Vendors should have someone to cover for the booth for bathroom and meal breaks, and/or if a vendor is participating in panels or competitions.
  • The Viridian and Salt Lake County Library cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or broken property.

Have fun!
